So, if you haven't heard of Advent by now, you need to go do yourself a favor and listen to them. The vocalist Joe Musten and the bassist Johnny Smrdel used to be in the now defunct melodic hardcore band Beloved. Advent has two records, "Remove The Earth" and "Naked And Cold", out on SolidState, and they're probably the heaviest albums that've been put out by the label in years. They definately would've fit right in with the older SS era with Living Sacrifice, ZAO, and Strongarm.
